17 Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding pro se with an action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Before the court are plaintiff’s motions to compel and to amend the third amended complaint. For the reasons set forth below, this court denies the motion to compel and recommends the motion to amend be denied. MOTION TO COMPEL Plaintiff’s motion to compel seeks two things. First, plaintiff asks the court to require defendants to provide him with an address for defendant Garcia. Second, plaintiff moves to compel responses to discovery. I.
