No. 6) 15 Respondent. 16 Petitioner Kyle Peterson is a federal prisoner1 proceeding in propria persona with a petition for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254, in which he challenges his 2013 conviction in state court (Case No. HC15967). (Doc. No. 1 at 3, 49.) On March 5, 2013, petitioner was sentenced in state court to four years of imprisonment (with 240 days of credit for time served in custody) after he pled to no contest to possession of child pornography. (Id. at 47, 49–50.)
