14 15 I. BACKGROUND 16 Pedro Rodriguez (“Plaintiff”) is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis 17 with this civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. On January 14, 2019, Plaintiff filed 18 the Complaint commencing this action. (ECF No. 1.) On April 8, 2020, the court issued the first 19 screening order dismissing the Complaint for failure to state a claim, with leave to amend. (ECF 20 No. 9.) Plaintiff was advised that he was not permitted to add unrelated claims or allegations of 21 events occurring after January 14, 2019 in the First Amended Complaint.
