STATE OF CALIFORNIA, Respondent. 16 Petitioner is a state prisonerwithout counsel seeking a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. On August 31, 2020,the court found that petitioner had failed to file an in forma pauperis applicationor paythe filing fee ($5.00) required by 28 U.S.C. §§ 1914(a) & 1915(a). ECF No. 3. Accordingly, the court ordered petitioner to file a completed in forma pauperis application or pay the filing fee within 30 days. That orderwarned petitioner that failure to do so may result in this action being dismissed. The 30-day period has expired,and petitioner has not filed a completed in forma pauperis affidavit, paid the filing fee,or otherwise responded to the court’s order.
