(ECF No. 27.) Attorney Teresa Allen 20 appeared via Zoom on behalf of plaintiffs and attorney Cameren Ripoli appeared via Zoom on 21 behalf of defendants. Oral argument was heard and plaintiffs’ motion was taken under 22 submission. 23 This action concerns claims alleged pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and California law 24 against the City of Redding, City of Redding Police officers, Shasta County Sheriff’s deputies, 25 and Shasta County Jail staff stemming from decedent Randall Scott Johnson’s arrest on August 26 14, 2018, and subsequent suicide on August 16, 2018, while incarcerated at the Shasta County 27 Jail.
