14 HRABKO,1 15 Defendant. 16 17 Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis with a civil rights 18 action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Plaintiff alleges defendant was deliberately indifferent to his 19 serious medical needs in violation of the Eighth Amendment. Before the court is defendant’s 20 motion for summary judgment and plaintiff’s motion to compel discovery responses.
