18 Plaintiff Darren Shanks is proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis in this civil rights action 19 pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. 20 On September 9, 2020, the Court screened Plaintiff’s complaint and found that Plaintiff stated 21 a cognizable retaliation claim against Defendants Mendez and Lopez, but no other claims were 22 cognizable.
