This matter was referred to the undersigned in accordance with Local Rule 302(c)(21) and 20 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1). Pending before the court are plaintiff’s complaint, motion to proceed in 21 forma pauperis pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1915, motion for injunctive relief, and motion for 22 summary judgment. (ECF Nos. 1, 2, 10 & 11.) While difficult to decipher, plaintiff’s complaint 23 appears to allege that the defendant engaged in breach of contract and copyright infringement in 24 connection with a publishing contract entered into by the parties. 25 The court is required to screen complaints brought by parties proceeding in forma 26 pauperis.
