The matter was referred to a United States Magistrate Judge 20 pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1)(B) and Local Rule 302. This action currently proceeds on 21 plaintiff’s claims for failure to protect, excessive use of force, retaliation, and failure to 22 decontaminate his cell brought against various defendants (collectively, defendants), each of 23 whom is alleged to have been a correctional officer at the relevant time at California State Prison, 24 Corcoran (“Corcoran”).
