The matter was referred to a United States Magistrate Judge pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1)(B) and Local Rule 302. This action currently proceeds on plaintiff’s claims for failure to protect, excessive use of force, retaliation, and failure to decontaminate his cell brought against various defendants (collectively, defendants), each of whom is alleged to have been a correctional officer at the relevant time at California State Prison, Corcoran (“Corcoran”).
