On May 6, 2020, the court granted petitioner leave to file a second amended petition for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §2254. Petitioner has filed a second amended petition. Under Rule 4 of the Rules Governing Section 2254 Cases, the court must review all petitions for writ of habeas corpus and summarily dismiss any claim if it is plain that the petitioner is not entitled to relief. The court has conducted that review. Petitioner asserts ineffective assistance of counsel in claims 7-11 and 13. In claims 7-10, petitioner alleges that trial counsel did not adequately investigate certain aspects of petitioner’s defense.
