17 Plaintiff is a county jail inmate proceeding without counsel in an action brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. On May 11, 2021, the court found that plaintiff had neither paid the filing fee nor properly submitted an application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis supported by a certified copy of his trust account statement as required by 28 U.S.C. § 1915(a)(2). ECF No. 4. Accordingly, the court directed plaintiff to either pay the filing fee or submit the application required by § 1915(a). Id. The court also warned plaintiff that failure to do so would result in this action being dismissed. Id.
