15 16 In this class action lawsuit, Isaias Vasquez and Linda Hefke are suing two cheese manufacturing companies, Leprino Foods Company and Leprino Foods Dairy Products Company. Before the court is Plaintiffs’ motion for judgment on the pleadings, which challenges Leprino’s numerous affirmative defenses on multiple grounds. For the reasons that follow, the Court will grant in part and deny in part Plaintiffs’ motion. 22 BACKGROUND Plaintiffs filed their lawsuit on May 8, 2017.
