17 Petitioner is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis with a petition for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Petitioner filed his petition in this Court on February 21, 2021. (Doc. 1.) On April 30, 2021, Respondent filed a motion to dismiss the petition for violating the statute of limitations. (Doc. 11.) On May 14, 2021, Petitioner filed an opposition to the motion to dismiss. (Doc. 15.) On May 25, 2021, Respondent filed a reply to Petitioner’s opposition. (Doc. 16.)
