From 2011 to 2018, operators of the scheme, built and sold thousands of these generators. First Am. Compl. (“FAC”) at 5, ECF No. 41. Purchasers paid $150,000.00 for each, with a down payment between $35,000.00 and $45,000.00, and a promissory note for the balance payable over twenty years. Id.
