Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding pro se with a civil rights action under 42 U.S.C. §1983. Plaintiff alleges defendants used excessive force in violation of his Eighth Amendment rights. Before the court are plaintiff’s motions for discovery and defendants’ motion for an extension of time to file a dispositive motion. For the reasons set forth below, this court will deny plaintiff’s motions, with one exception, and grant defendants’ motion. BACKGROUND This case is proceeding on plaintiff’s claims against defendants Cox and Von Rader.
