15 Defendant. 16 Janet Lynn Barker seeks judicial review of a final decision of the Commissioner of Social Security denying her application for disability benefits pursuant to the Social Security Act. (Doc. No. 1). The Court has reviewed the record, memoranda, and applicable law. For the reasons stated herein, the Court orders that the Commissioner’s decision be REMANDED for further administrative proceedings as set forth below. I. FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND On June 30, 2015, Barker protectively filed a Title II application for a period of disability and disability insurance benefits with an onset date of May 2, 2011. (AR 15). Barker’s application was initially denied on September 23, 2015 and denied upon reconsideration on
