15 Defendant. 16 Plaintiff seeks judicial review of a final decision by the Commissioner of Social Security denying his application for Disability Insurance Benefits under Title II of the Social Security Act. In the motion for summary judgment, plaintiff contends the Administrative Law Judge (“ALJ”) erred in failing to articulate legally appropriate reasons for rejecting (A) the medical opinions of (1) plaintiff’s psychologist, and (2) plaintiff’s medical doctor; and (B) plaintiff’s subjective symptom testimony. The Commissioner contends the ALJ’s decision is supported by substantial evidence and free from legal error. For the reasons stated below, the court DENIES plaintiff’s motion, GRANTS the Commissioner’s cross-motion, and AFFIRMS the final decision of the Commissioner.
