No. 6) 16 This matter is before the court on the motion to compel arbitration and to dismiss this action filed by defendant Gruma Corporation (“defendant” or “Gruma”) on September 17, 2020. (Doc. No. 6.) Pursuant to General Order No. 617 addressing the public health emergency posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, defendant’s motion was taken under submission on the papers. (Doc. No. 8.) For the reasons explained below, the court will grant the pending motion to compel arbitration and dismiss this action.
