17 Plaintiff Darren Gilbert filed this action on April 23, 2021. (ECF No. 1.) On December 18 16, 2021, Defendant Amar Kumar (“Defendant” or “Kumar”) filed an “Application Pursuant to 19 Civil Code Section 55.54 for Stay and Early Evaluation Conference,” which the Court construes 20 as a motion to stay. (ECF No. 32.) On December 20, 2021, the Court ordered Plaintiff to file an 21 opposition or statement of non-opposition to the Defendant’s filing within fourteen (14) days, 22 and ordered any reply to be filed within seven (7) days of the filing of any opposition. (ECF No. 23 33.) On January 3, 2022, Plaintiff filed an opposition. (ECF No. 34.)
