PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND

In September 2015, Plaintiff Rhonda J. H. (“Plaintiff”) applied for Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits, alleging that she became disabled at age 50 on August 24, 2015, an onset date later amended to August 21, 2015.1

Plaintiff returned to work from 2007-2015 as a retail sales associate at Lowe’s in North Carolina, a job classified as “heavy” that required her to 26 stand/walk all 8 hours of her workday, sometimes lift 100 pounds, and frequently lift 50 pounds.
