I. PROCEEDINGS
17 Plaintiff seeks review of the Commissioner’s final decision 18 denying his application for Social Security supplemental security 19 income benefits (“SSI”). The matter is before the Court on the 20 parties’ Joint Stipulation, filed August 11, 2020, which the 21 Court has taken under submission without oral argument. For the 22 reasons stated below, the Commissioner’s decision is affirmed. 23
II. BACKGROUND
