INTRODUCTION 1188 Pro se Plaintiff Stephen Cummings initiated this copyright action based on his 1199 fanciful claim that Defendants1 adapted the 1997 motion picture Titanic from his life 2200 story. (See Notice of Removal, Ex. A (“Complaint” or “Compl.”), ECF No. 1-1.) The 2211 Court granted Defendants’ motion to dismiss and invited a motion for attorneys’ fees 2222 and costs. (Order Granting Mots. to Dismiss 8–9, ECF No. 69.) Defendants now 2233 request $20,534.65 in attorneys’ fees and costs. (Mot. for Att’ys’ Fees (“Mot.”), ECF 2244 No. 71.)
