(“defendant”), asserting a single cause of action under California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act (“Unruh Act”), Cal. Civ. Code §§ 51, et seq.. (See Dkt. 1, Notice of Removal (“NOR”) at ¶ 1); (Dkt. 1-2, Complaint). On February 18, 2021, defendant removed the instant action on federal question jurisdiction grounds pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §§ 1331 and 1441(a). (See Dkt. 1, NOR at ¶ 4).
