Heron Pointe Apartments initiated this action against George Mack and Jasmine Wingfield by filing a complaint for unlawful detainer in Fresno County Superior Court, Case No. 22CECL01470.1 (Doc. 1 at 7-10.) On May 20, 2022, the defendants filed a Notice of Removal (Doc. 1) and motions to proceed before this Court in forma pauperis (Docs. 2, 3).
