15 16 I. INTRODUCTION 17 The matter before the Court is Defendant County of Stanislaus’ Motion to Dismiss Plaintiff’s 18 Verified Supplemental and Amended Complaint1 (the “Motion”). (Doc. 15.) On January 14, 2022, 19 Plaintiff Nicholas Honchariw filed his opposition (Doc. 17), and Defendant filed its reply on January 20 25, 2022 (Doc. 18). Pursuant to General Order No. 617 addressing the public health emergency 21 posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Motion was taken under submission on the papers. (Doc. 22 16.)
