HABEAS CORPUS 14 TERESA CISNEROS, Warden, [THIRTY DAY OBJECTION DEADLINE] 15 Respondent. 16 17 Petitioner is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis with a petition for 18 writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. He presents three claims challenging his 19 conviction in Kern County Superior Court. As discussed below, the Court finds the claims to be 20 without merit and recommends the petition be DENIED. 21 I. PROCEDURAL HISTORY 22 On August 24, 2017, a Kern County jury found Petitioner guilty of four counts of lewd or 23 lascivious acts with a child under 14 years old (Cal. Penal Code § 288(a)) against three victims. 24 (Doc. 14-1 at 264.1) On November 2, 2017, the court sentenced Petitioner to a term of 45 years to 25 life.
