INTRODUCTION 20 Plaintiff Elizabeth Marie Pinto (“Plaintiff”) seeks judicial review of a final decision of the 21 Commissioner of Social Security (the “Commissioner” or “Defendant”) denying her application 22 for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) under the Social Security Act (the “Act”). (Doc. 1.) The 23 matter is currently before the Court on the parties’ briefs, which were submitted, without oral 24 argument, to the Honorable Sheila K.
