18 19 Jared Martin (“Plaintiff”) is a prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis in this 20 civil rights action filed pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. 21 On November 30, 2022, Plaintiff filed a motion for appointment of pro bono counsel and 22 to subpoena Plaintiff’s prison central file and medical record. (ECF No. 13). Plaintiff asks for a 23 subpoena for his prison central file and medical record because they contain relevant evidence in 24 four cases that have passed screening. California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation 25 employees have refused to provide them to Plaintiff, despite multiple requests. Plaintiff also asks 26 the Court…
