Introduction 18 Petitioner is a state prisoner, proceeding without counsel, with an application for a writ of 19 habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Petitioner challenges his November 2013 conviction 20 for first degree murder, assault with a firearm, discharge of a firearm at an inhabited dwelling, 21 and being a felon in possession of a firearm. The trial court sentenced petitioner to 97 years to 22 life in state prison. Petitioner argues that the state court erred when it allowed the prosecutor to 23 cross-examine him about his access to pretrial discovery. After reviewing the record, this Court 24 concludes that the petition should be denied. 25 II.
