14 F.N.P. LOADHOLT, et al., 15 Defendants. 16 17 I. Introduction 18 Plaintiff is a former state prisoner, proceeding without counsel, with a civil rights action 19 pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Pending before the court is plaintiff’s motion for leave to file a 20 sixth amended complaint. (ECF No. 136.) Defendants oppose plaintiff’s motion to amend. (ECF 21 No. 139.) For the reasons stated herein, the undersigned recommends that plaintiff’s motion to 22 amend be denied. 23 Also pending is plaintiff’s motion to amend the dispositive motion deadline.
