17 Plaintiff filed a pro se complaint, and then a first amended complaint, seeking relief under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. This matter was referred to the undersigned by Local Rule 302(c)(21) pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(b). By order signed and filed on October 24, 2022 (ECF No. 5), the undersigned screened the first amended complaint pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1915(e), advised plaintiff of the deficiencies in the first amended complaint, and granted plaintiff thirty days to file a further amended complaint.
