19 Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis in this civil rights action 20 brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against Siefken, Jennings-Sedillo, and Hurtado. Plaintiff claims 21 that despite prior warnings, Siefken and Hurtado failed to protect him from being assaulted by other 22 inmates at Corcoran State Prison and that Jennings-Sedillo used excessive force when she shot him 23 with a 40mm round while he was already on the ground. 24 On…
