17 On May 6, 2022, Plaintiff Darren Gilbert initiated this action against Defendants Harkirat Singh Samra dba Bill’s Sport & Bait Shop and Fahmi Abdo Alsumeri. (Doc. 1.) The Complaint asserts claims for injunctive relief under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“ADA”) and the California Health and Safety Code and a claim for statutory damages under California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act (“Unruh Act”). (Id.) Defendants have not appeared in this action, and default has been entered. (Doc. 6.) On October 24, 2022, Plaintiff filed a motion for default judgment against Defendants. (Doc. 19.)
