ORDER GRANTING MOTION TO REMAND Plaintiffs, (Doc. 17) v. 14 TURLOCK IRRIGATION DISTRICT and DOES 1 through 20, Defendants. 17 This dispute arises from the claim that Defendant Turlock Irrigation District (“TID”) breached a contract to study the feasibility of Plaintiffs’ battery energy storage project that would “interconnect with TID’s transmission system to deliver electricity to California and the Western United States.” (Doc. 17 at 6.) TID removed the suit to this Court pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1441(a), claiming that Plaintiffs’ complaint “contains various causes of action that are federal questions”. (Doc. 1 at 4.)
