Defendants. 16 I previously screened plaintiff’s complaint, notified her that it failed to state a claim, and recommended that the complaint be dismissed without leave to amend. ECF No. 3. I subsequently vacated the findings and recommendations and gave plaintiff thirty days to file an amended complaint. ECF No. 4. Plaintiff failed to timely file an amended complaint. Accordingly, on April 5, 2023, I ordered her to show cause within fourteen days why this action should not be dismissed for failure to prosecute and failure to state a claim. ECF No. 6. I notified her that if she wished to continue with this lawsuit, she would need to file an amended complaint. I also warned plaintiff that failure to comply with the April 5 order would result in a recommendation that this action be dismissed. …
