Defendant. (Doc. No. 9) 16 This matter is before the court on plaintiff’s motion to remand this action to the Sacramento County Superior Court. (Doc. No. 9.) On June 30, 2023, plaintiff’s motion was taken under submission to be decided on the papers. (Doc. No. 12.) For the reasons set forth below, the court will deny plaintiff’s motion to remand. BACKGROUND On February 28, 2023, plaintiff Nickolay Mamchits filed a complaint initiating this action against defendant Ford Motor Company and Does 1 through 10, inclusive, in the Sacramento County Superior Court.
