Final Pretrial Conf., ECF No. 99. During the conference, 19 the court discussed with the parties their pending motions in limine. Defendants requested the 20 court resolve their third motion in /imine—to prevent introduction of non-retained experts— before the parties’ settlement conference in front of the magistrate judge. See Mot., ECF No. 94. In light of that request, the court set a briefing schedule for that motion and set it for hearing on September 22, 2023. See Final Pretrial Order at 5, ECF No. 104.
