16 Plaintiff Jared Kristopher Rysedorph (“Plaintiff”) is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis in this civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. On July 5, 2023, the Court screened the first amended complaint and directed Plaintiff to file a second amended complaint or a notice of voluntary dismissal within thirty days. (ECF No. 20.) Following two extensions of time due to Plaintiff’s broken hand, Plaintiff’s response is currently due on or before October 18, 2023. (ECF Nos. 23, 25.)
