17 This civil rights and wrongful death action arises out of the February 9, 2019, officer involved shooting of 20-year-old Willie McCoy by six City of Vallejo Police officers. (ECF No. 169, Third Amended Complaint, at ¶ 1.) Plaintiff alleges individual officer and municipal liability under 42 U.S.C. 1983 and state civil rights statutes, and seeks damages and injunctive relief. (See generally, id.) Presently pending before this court are cross-motions to compel discovery. (ECF Nos. 201, 204). Plaintiff also seeks sanctions for spoliation of evidence.1 (ECF No. 201.)
