Defendants. 15 Plaintiff is a former state prisoner proceeding pro se with a civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Currently before the court is defendant’s motion for terminating sanctions, which plaintiff opposes. ECF Nos. 35, 36. I. Procedural History Plaintiff was released from prison sometime at the end of 2020. ECF No. 10. Defendants filed a motion to compel on December 17, 2021, which sought to compel plaintiff to appear for his deposition and to respond to interrogatories and requests for production. ECF No. 27.
