CITY OF MANTECA POLICE, et al., Defendants. 16 Plaintiff is proceeding in this matter pro se, and pre-trial proceedings are accordingly referred to the undersigned pursuant to Local Rule 302(c)(21). The case was removed from state court by defendants on September 5, 2023. ECF No. 1. Plaintiff moves to remand the action to state court. ECF No. 4. Defendants filed an answer on October 16, 2023. ECF No. 5. On October 17, 2023, defendants moved for judgment on the pleadings. ECF No. 7. On November 12, 2023, plaintiff moved to strike defendants’ answer. ECF No. 12.
