This matter is before the Court on the motion to withdraw as Plaintiff Pravin O. Desai’s
(“Plaintiff”) counsel of record filed by attorney Ryan C. Wright on December 13, 2023. (Doc. 75). For the reasons explained below, the Court grants the motion to withdraw as counsel. Background On November 25, 2019, Plaintiff, through counsel Jesse James Thaler, filed this action in the Kern County Superior Court against Defendants The Lincoln National Life Insurance Co., Lincoln Life & Annuity Co. of New York, and First Penn-Pacific Life Insurance Co.
