FEBRUARY 16, 2024 19 Plaintiff, a county jail inmate proceeding pro se, has filed this civil rights action seeking relief under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. The matter was referred to this court pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1)(B) and Local Rule 302. On August 29, 2023, the District Judge who was assigned to this matter at that time ordered Plaintiff to either file an amended complaint OR, notify the court that he wished to stand on the claims found cognizable by the undersigned in a screening order, and to do so within thirty days.
