14 JUSTICE CTR. DETENTION FAC., et al., 15 Defendants. 16 17 Plaintiff, a county inmate proceeding pro se, filed this civil rights action under 42 U.S.C. 18 §1983. Before the court is plaintiff’s first amended complaint for screening. For the reasons set 19 forth below, this court finds plaintiff fails to state any cognizable claims for relief. Because this 20 court further finds amending the complaint would be futile, it is recommended that this action be 21 dismissed. 22 Plaintiff is detained at the Justice Center Detention Facility in Solano County. In his 23 original complaint, plaintiff claimed he had been provided a lunch with an insect in it and was 24 forced to go without lunch.
