15 TRUST AGREEMENHT dated May 10, 2018, 16 Defendant. 17 18 On August 31, 2023, Plaintiff Jose Escobedo initiated this action against Defendant 19 Maninder Singh, as Trustee under the Nirbhai Singh Revocable Living Trust Agreement dated 20 May 10, 2028. (Doc. 1.) The Complaint asserts claims for injunctive relief under the Americans 21 with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“ADA”) and the California Health and Safety Code and a claim for 22 statutory damages under California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act (“Unruh Act”). (Id.) Defendant 23 Singh has not appeared in this action, and default has been entered. (Doc. 7.) 24 On January 24, 2024, Plaintiff filed a motion for default judgment against Defendant 25 Singh based only on Plaintiff’s claims arising under the ADA and the Unruh Act.1 …
