18 Plaintiff Adam Sharpe is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis in 19 this civil rights action filed pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. This case proceeds on Plaintiff’s 20 claims in his amended complaint alleging that Defendants C. Cryer, J. Lewis, S. Gates, and C. 21 Nules were deliberately indifferent to his serious medical needs for specialized contact lenses 22 in violation of the Eighth Amendment.
