v. LEGISLATION OF CALIFORNIA, et al., Defendants. 16 Plaintiff, a county inmate proceeding pro se, has filed this civil rights action seeking relief under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. By order filed January 11, 2024, plaintiff was ordered to pay the filing fee within thirty days prior to proceeding any further with this action. ECF No. 8. The thirty-day period has now expired, and plaintiff has not paid the filing fee. Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY RECOMMENDED that this action be dismissed without prejudice. These findings and recommendations are submitted to the United States District Judge assigned to the case, pursuant to the provisions of 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(l).
