THE EQUAL ACCESS TO JUSTICE ACT, 28 U.S.C. § 2412(d) AND COSTS 14 COMMISSIONER OF SOCIAL SECURITY, (Doc. 18) 15 Defendant. 16 17 Pending before the Court is the parties’ stipulated motion for award of attorney’s fees 18 pursuant to the Equal Access to Justice Act (“EAJA”), 28 U.S.C. § 2412(d). (Doc. 18). The 19 parties agree to an award of attorney’s fees to counsel for Plaintiff Maria Dolores Ruiz 20 (“Plaintiff”), Jacqueline Anna Forslund, in the amount of $12,500.00 pursuant to the EAJA, 28 21 U.S.C. § 2412(d), and $402.00 in costs under 28 U.S.C. § 1920. Id. 22 On December 4, 2023, the Court entered an order on the parties’ stipulation to grant 23 voluntary remand and remanded this matter to the Commissioner for further proceedings 24 pursuant to sentence four of 42 U.S.C. § 405(g).
