ELLIS, et al., 15 Defendants. 16 17 Plaintiff is a former county jail inmate proceeding pro se. By order filed December 6, 18 2023, plaintiff’s complaint was dismissed, and thirty days leave to file an amended complaint was 19 granted. Plaintiff failed to file an amended complaint, and on January 12, 2024, it was 20 recommended that this action be dismissed. Plaintiff filed objections; the findings and 21 recommendations were vacated, and on January 24, 2024, plaintiff was granted an additional 22 thirty days in which to amend. Thirty days have passed, and plaintiff has not filed an amended 23 complaint or otherwise responded to the court’s order. 24 Although it appears from the file that plaintiff’s copy of the order was returned, plaintiff 25 was properly served.
