Plaintiff does not oppose the motions. The Court finds the matters suitable 19 for decision without oral argument pursuant to Local Rule 230(g) and General Order 618. 20 I. Factual Background 21 Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis in this civil rights 22 action brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Specifically, the case is proceeding on Plaintiff’s 23 Eighth Amendment claim for deliberate indifference to a serious risk of harm against Defendant 24 Salcedo and his Eighth Amendment medical indifference claims against Defendants Gooch, 25 Salcedo, and Burnes.
